CHARLOTTE HOUSE HOTEL
Lincoln Wedding Photography
Aimee & Will
Lincoln has always been one of my favourite places to visit within the county and being a Lincoln wedding photographer means I am lucky enough to visit there on a regular basis.
This time I had the opportunity and pleasure of photographing a wedding at the Charlotte House Hotel. This Lincolnshire wedding venue is located directly opposite the 1000-year-old Lincoln castle built by William the Conqueror. This area of Lincoln is always beautiful and is always a great place to explore when taking wedding images for couples.
With the Aimee & Wills big day coinciding with the annual Lincoln cycle race we knew it was going to be a busy one. Starting the day capturing the guests arriving and Aimme getting ready was a great way of telling their story. This is always a great opportunity for grooms after the wedding to see the bridal preparations through the perspective of their future wife and couples are always pleased the choose this kind of coverage when they see the results.
The ceremony and reception were held inside Charlotte house with the orangery being a great place to set their wedding guests during the reception. The orangery area always looks great even when it isn’t decorated but with Aimee and Wills unique take on their day and their attention to detail with their wedding decorations it looked fantastic.
Once the ceremony, wedding breakfast and speeches finished I was there to capture their evening guests watch the newly weds perform their first dance. This was made extra special when they surprised their guests with a rehearsed routine before handing over the entertainment to a live band. Yet another humbling day being asked to photograph a wonderful couples special day. Thank you, both!
