To photograph a Dower House Hotel wedding venue is always something special. Tucked away in beautiful woodland in the heart of Woodhall Spa it’s a great setting to spend the day with wedding clients.

Before we got to Dower House I spent some time with Hayley at her home taking images of the wedding details like the dress, flowers, and shoes before moving onto to capture beautiful images of her getting ready. With Hayley being a fan of Audrey Hepburn we even got the opportunity to create some fun images of her smoking her famous cigarette holder. After spending a couple of hours telling the story I made my way All Saint Church, North Hykeham to meet Sam and his best man.

All Saints is a very quaint church wedding venue set on the outskirts of Lincoln and offers a tranquil place away from the hustle of the city. Grabbing the opportunity to capture pictures of the guest arriving I waited for the arrival of Hayley in a unique VW transporter wedding vehicle.

Like many Lincolnshire wedding venues got permission to photograph the ceremony ensuring those intimate moments were recorded for prosperity. As the ceremony ended and confetti was thrown we all finally made our way to The Dower House Hotel where great images were at every turn. The garden boasts a fantastic ornate stone folly which formed the backdrop for many spectacular images of the happy couple.
