ENGAGEMENT SESSION
Lincolnshire Photographer
Rebecca & Andy
I had a fantastic day today combining two of my passions, travel and photography. Rebecca and Andy had chosen me to photograph their wedding at the amazing Middleton Lodge in North Yorkshire and today was a great way to meet up with them before the day to talk about their wedding plans and to capture some images for them as part of their engagement shoot.
The weather was overcast and drizzling but nothing unusual for this time of the year, particularly being in the UK. The weather is often something couples worry about on their wedding day but in terms of capturing great images this is easily done come rain or shine, just look for the great light and that’s where the magic happens.
It was my first time to Wilmslow in Manchester and after chatting about their plans we headed to a local wooded area next to a railway line and an alleyway to create some fab images. It just goes to show that no matter where you are, with great light, careful attention to detail and some creative thought a great variety of images can be captured.
Before the session was wrapped up I did something a little off the wall and made Becky float in mid-air! now that would make for a really unique wedding image, David Blane and Copperfield would be so jealous!
I can’t wait to see what we can create together come the wedding day, so excited to produce something very special for them both!
