Having waited a few years to pop the question Charley and Daniel wasted no time putting together a wonderful day at weddings venues in both Louth and Grimsby. They chose the spectacular St James Church Louth to exchange their marriage vows. Set in the capital of the Lincolnshire Wolds and with one of the tallest parish church spires in the country, it’s certainly unmissable on the skyline. Arriving in an amazing vintage Rover 100 it provided the perfect opportunity to take some stunning images of Charley in the vehicle.

I always love it when brides choose to wear veils to their wedding as it provides an extra dimension and variety to the wedding photographs that couples love. Today must have been my lucky day as  Charley wore an incredible white wedding dress and veil enabling me to capture details of the dress to help tell the story of the day.

After the ceremony, we made the 20-minute journey to Laceby Manor Grimsby for the wedding reception. Laceby Manor is Grimsby wedding venue which hosts a number of wedding receptions throughout the year. Jackie the events manager did a wonderful job of arranging the wedding breakfast whilst I took the time time to photograph some group shots for the guests and to spend some time in the incredible grounds. What a fantastic place to take wedding images offering a great variety of places to capture unique images. With the combination of a lake, bridge, and formal gardens I was spoilt for choice and didn’t waste any time making the most of it.

I always find that couples really appreciate taking the opportunity to have some images taken of just the two of them away from their guests. It’s a great way to a have a little bit of quiet time just the two of them to enjoy each others company, create some amazing images before rejoining the celebrations and the wedding breakfast.
