HEMSWELL COURT WEDDING
Lincolnshire Wedding Photographer
Attending an Hemwell Court Wedding is a real pleasure and having photographed many over the years it has enabled me to have establish a great insight into this wonderful and bespoke wedding venue.
Located approximately 10 miles north of Lincoln just off from the A15 and situated within the quiet village of Hemswell Cliff. This is a beautiful Georgian styled venue.
Hemswell Court is full of character with an abundance of fine wonderful furnishings delivered to a high standard and surrounded by my gorgeous woodland and formal gardens.
A fabulous place to host your wedding.
Hemswell Court was once used as the officers quarters during WWII. Located close to the former RAF Hemswell base there is a real sense of nostalga when visiting this area and building.
The venue was later notably used for the famous film of the Dambusters.
Hemswell Court Wedding Services
When it comes to weddings a great option is to attend a Hemswell Court wedding fayre. There, like many venues you will have a host of suppliers you can chat to about their services, see the products up close and experience the venue as it would be set up for a wedding day.
The venue itself can hold up to 200 people which is large enough to cater for most wedding guess lists and is an exclusive use venue when you book. The venue already includes a wedding licence and with an experienced team headed by Shaun you won’t go far wrong.
One of the advantages included as part of a Hemswell Court wedding package is to have your ceremony held either inside or outside in the fabulous bandstand. A truly unique setting.
Accomodation & Rooms
With a recently awarded five-star status, Hemswell Court has several double, twin and family rooms decorated to a high standard.
The bridal suite is a real touch of luxury spacious with a wonderful ensuite. It provides plenty of space for the Bride or Groom to get ready along with there bridesmaids, best man and groomsmen.
There are five main rooms at this venue:

This is where many guests who have larger wedding parties congregate have their wedding breakfast it’s a magnificent room large open windows looking onto the gardens with its feature fireplace it’s a spectacular location for any event.
This room is a grand setting for when you start your wedding breakfast speeches photographs extremely well with a floodlight coming from the windows beautifully light and airy imagery.
The Ball Room
Another function room that doubles up ideally for a dance floor for your evening guests is the ballroom. A spacious area to accommodate many of your guests to boogie the night away. With a convenienient bar located close by it’s a favourite for many. Having photographed many weddings here I can say that the lighting and sound setup provided is fantastic and creates a great atmosphere for guests. It is always a great place and opportunity to capture those dance shots of you and your wedding guests
The drawing room
This has to be one of my favourite rooms with wonderful furniture and is one of the locations in which a civil wedding ceremony can take place this room can either be light and airy with its large windows or fantastically romantic when the curtains are closed and the candlelit walkway is created for the bride to walk down the aisle simply wonderful
