HEMSWELL COURT
Lincolnshire Wedding Photography
Maryam & James
It’s not every day you get asked to photograph a Persian wedding but when Maryam & James approached me to capture their wedding day at Hemswell Court, Lincolnshire I jumped at the chance.
Many of the Hemswell court weddings I have photographed have included unique touches that celebrate the individuality of the couples getting married but today took it to another level. Maryam had done an amazing job of including her Iranian culture into many of the details on the wedding day with a particularly special sofreyé aghd which included many different elements from mirrors, candles and many other symbolic objects.
Hemswell court has always been one of my favourite Lincolnshire wedding venues to photograph, being steeped in RAF military history as a former station during the war. The ambiance created at each of the weddings is wonderful and intimate particularly when couples and the staff there create a candlelit atmosphere making it a truly memorable occasion.
The venues grounds are another favourite of mine offering secluded areas to take couples away to produce beautiful and intimate wedding imagery. With Hemswell Court offering an all-inclusive experience it wasn’t long before the evening celebrations started in their function room and the opportunity to record Maryam & James first dance. The dance was quickly followed by the guests filling the dance floor with a particularly impressive dance performance by Maryam with the father of the bride.
