KENWICK PARK WEDDING
Louth Wedding Photography
Eleanor & Liam
Winter weddings always present unique challenges, great opportunities and are good fun to photograph. With Eleanor & Liam’s Kenwick Park wedding taking place at the end of the winter period the anticipation of snow and chilly weather is ever present. As it turned out the snow stayed at bay but the cold temperatures didn’t disappoint.
Eleanor had wisely made the necessary preparations incorporating an umbrella and a thick winter wedding shawl that was not only practical but provided some great ideas for unique wedding images.
Once I had captured the wedding ceremony at St James Church in Louth my clients were keen to include some urban style photograph in the surrounding town area. This is always a great way to incorporate variety into your wedding images and we wasted no time going on a fun safari around the back streets capturing contemporary images with unusual backdrops including old walls and colourful shutters.
We next headed over to the Kenwick Park Hotel wedding reception the staff whom always go to get lengths to make their weddings a wonderful experience for everyone. Another way of adding additional variety to the wedding images is to capture all the little detail shots of the room before the guests enter. This included all the table settings, amazing wedding cakes (they had two) and all the finer details that help tell the story of the day.
Kenwick Park Hotel is a great venue to photograph weddings providing plenty of opportunities both inside and out and we took this opportunity by photography and amazing backlit image under the gazebo. It was very cold but the results were well worth the effort as we produced a fantastic nighttime image with the umbrella Eleanor had brought along.
